At Any Cost...

Harry explores Midwich Elementary in search of his missing daughter. I drew this as practise of how to draw him from a side-on point-of-view, since drawing short and slicked-back hairstyles don't come as naturally to me as drawing longer, swishy hairstyles.

The school lockers in the background are based on the ones in the game, and I did consider putting in one of the many doors there too but figured that there would end up being way too much brown in the picture if I did so, what with Harry's hair, jacket and steel pipe already being that colour. I also didn't want the pipe to end up blending in to something of a similar hue sitting behind it.

In uploading it to DA the shadows appear a bit lighter and the pipe more reddish than in my original piece. I'm normally a bit reluctant to make my pictures too dark because it tends to swallow up a lot of the detail that I put into the line-art and the highlights in the hair, but I didn't have as much of a problem with that due to the arrangement of the lighting in this one.

I put a mild mature content warning on this just in case, since he's been dealing with some of the " friendly locals ".
